Chefblack. I find your post objectionable and intentionally inflammatory. We checked your registration only to find you do not list an e-mail address, a web site, and you list your location as San Antonio, TX. Why are you asking about Michigan? Further, what you listed in your registration as your "interests" are clearly not directed towards this Professsional community, and are considered unacceptable. We do not solicit information about or categorize our members by race, sex, or national origin, and we do not wish to hear from you again. Candy Wallace

the question about black chefs was only a question..if you have none say no..im moving to michigan soon is all..why do you jump on me so?? the question was not ment to hurt you of your industry...why would kick me out of your group ....im with the black press and candy this will be adressed and sent to the 300 news papers i write for...so is seems you have a problem with black chefs. now you really do...see you in the papers sweetie....chef black for the NAACP.

THAT MAN ONLY ASKED IF THEIR WHERE BLACK CHEFS IN YOUR APCA..IM WITH THE BLACK CULINARY PROFESSIONALS WE WERE TALKING ABOUT SOME OF OUR MEMBERSHIP BUYING YOUR KIT...WE ARE A GROUP OF TALENTED AFRICAN-AMERICAN CHEFS WHO HAVE BEATEN THE ADDS AND ARE CONSIDERED TO BE AMONG THE MOST RESPECTED INDIVIDUALS IN CULINARY CIRCLES.(CHEF BLACK IS A MEMBER) WHY WOULD ASKING A QUESTION LIKE THAT BE A ISSUE TO NOT BE INVITED BACK???I TOO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEIR ARE BLACKS IN YOUR ASSOCIATION!

Dear Sammy ... if this is your name!
I am a "Black Chef" and I take offense to your allegations against this fine "Association" for which I belong. What in the world does your race [or anyoneÂs] have to do with the fine art of cooking and entertaining? Candy has been nothing else but helpful to us all. In fact, over the past several weeks alone, I have gotten 10 referrals from the APCA, which turned, into business for my personal chef service! Your questions were not at all business related - as in what training does one need formal - informal; what are the positives to joining and belonging to this well established and recognized organization vs. no organization or even worst one that has not been established very long..., with no creditability or track record! So I ask you again, why.... would race have anything to do with cooking, especially since in this day and age, when people are so interested and enjoy so very much "ethnic cusine" Most people are looking for culturally different food to enjoy and consume. This is a great arena for 'ALL' Why I ask you, if you are really with the black press, are using your position to threaten someone and an organization you know nothing about. And why - in your open forum registration information would you use such vial language if you were a professional. By the way, I don't know of many reporters who use web TV. Who are you and what's your problem? I hope Candy [if she is smart] contacts the NAACP and reports your IP information and copy of your registration. If you are a member of the pres, kiss it good-bye, because I am certain the NAACP, another fine organization - always in the forefront civil rights, will certainly have issue with your allegations in the name of JUSTICE in the AMERICAN WAY. This could almost be viewed as a hate racist crime in reverse. Are you being lead or just intentionally starting trouble where there is none. You might want to seek help from a professional because you apparently are bored and easily lead or just plain sick (you poor person). In business you often-fine jealousy and those looking to tear you down... as a black woman, I find it offensive when this comes from my own! Good Luck to you! Chef Rousseau P.s. Ok, Folks...I just got off the phone with Chef Tracey Hopkins at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and guess what... He DID NOT post the message on our Forum, and he has NEVER HEARD of Chef Sammie Black, and is MOST UPSET that this "person" would be posting messages in his name. It is interesting to note that both messages (chefblack & "Chef Tracey's" originated from the SAME IP address). In fact, Chef Tracey does not own a computer. We have agreed with Chef Tracey that this is an actionable offense and are contacting WebTV (where this IP originates) and the proper authorities, and are going to find this person and prosecute. We are also forwarding the same information to the NAACP for their use in tracking this person for their own satisfaction.
We are sick and tired of the "shadow" attacks on this Association and the fine work we do by a small group of jealous and greedy people, and one particularly sick individual. We will no longer tolerate irresponsible or intentionally harmful behavior by these people and will, from this point on, take steps formally to trace and prosecute these offenders. We have extended our apologies to Chef Tracey in Philadelphia that he had to be so ill treated by some "phantom", and have invited him to accept an honorary Membership in the American Personal Chef Association.
