I haven't even gotten my kit yet and I've already been forwarded a request for a PC in the Mashpee area of Cape Cod. Since I haven't gotten my training kit yet and I'm totally unprepared I told the potential client that I would post their request here incase there was another PC in the southeastern MA area that wouldn't mind doing some traveling. Of course I mentioned that once I had things organized I would be servicing all of Cape Cod just in case there's not an immediate rush on their need for a PC. I don't even have a name for my business yet and I'm already getting potential clients!!!! I love this business!!!!

Good for you, but on the other hand, why not just take the chance? With all the information available on the web, why not just go for it. You can find the survey on the web, so at least you have that part together.
You do need a name, though.

I feel like if I accepted the job right now I wouldn't be giving them the best service possible. Not only do I not have a name, but I also still need to check with the town/state on regulations and licensing and I need to get supplies such as pots and pans, insurance, etc. and I don't even have a menu planned. Also where I live I never had much cause to get a driver's license so I still have to do that. I did at least buy myself a car the other day so I'm halfway there! It's just gonna take me a couple of weeks to get organized. I guess I just want my clients to get their money's worth and not just do a half-assed job just so I can start a couple of weeks earlier.I wouldn't want to risk my reputation just for a quick buck.
Good thinking, Samantha - it's better to be informed, prepared and official before throwing yourself into the pool. Your materials are on their way to you 2-Day Priority Mail so you're getting closer all of the time. Thanks for your enthusiasm - it's delicious! Candy
