I would like to know from the experienced personal chefs, why you chose this organization over any of the other personal chef organizations? How did you find your information? Are you happy with your choice? I am trying to decide "where" to go, and want to dig in deeper than what the web pages say. So that is why I am asking you! I have heard all great things about APCA, but would also like to know "why" you chose this particular organization! Thank you! Sara

Why did I choose APPCA? In two words: Candy Wallace!

My two words...."personal chef."

When I googled "personal chef," then APCA (now APPCA of course) was the first to come up. I figured if I found APCA first, so would a potential client. The client in turn would find ME!

Then I spoke to Candy Wallace and met Jim Davis a few months later and knew I found a "home."

And don't forget...we ARE the largest association for personal chefs...that should speak VOLUMES!!!

APPCA is what led us to start our business. Dennis saw an email and clicked on it and it led here--we could not find a downside and have been members, make that HAPPY members since 1999 and cannot imagine being anywhere else.

The members are friendly, supportive, and full of years of experience from every walk of life. The home office is amazing and the training is spot-on and gets you in the right direction.

Candy is wonderful and brings humor and passion to this business in a manner that is truly contagious---she takes the time to speak and listen to whomever calls and always has advice and direction to offer--plus she is just plain good fun to talk to and hang out with!

APPCA was simply the right fit for us and remain such.

The freedom of owning your own business is a feeling that is difficult to describe, kind of like our own little slice of heaven. Not having the ball and chains on our legs is wonderful.

If you want something bad enough and are willing to work hard enough anything is possible.

Just to let you know, one telephone conversation with Candy and we knew we found the right place! The members are so giving with their time and knowledge, in my opinion, joining the APPCA was one of the best decisions we made, for ourselves and for our family.
