Given the choice between attending the Summit in Minneapolis and one of the other seminars, which would you recommend?

I'm interested in becoming a PC but am not in the business yet. Would I get anything more or less out of the Summit than one of the regular seminars? The Summit seems to be a little more expensive.

Thanks for your input.

Hi Diane,

I'm glad you asked about the Summit vs. the regular live seminars that we teach all year long.
The Summit is our Annual Continuing Education Conference. It's a very big deal. It's 2+ days of break out sessions, panel discussions, cooking demonstrations and networking opportunties for you and your colleagues to have an opportunity to learn how to make your personal chef busiensses more efficient, more profitable and more enjoyable. It's also a great opportunity to meet your peers and make contacts that will serve you well in your new career. There is a Trade Show (Info Fair) as well, where you can see and test new products that are of special interest to personal chefs.
We're also teaching skill polishing classes on the day after the Summit at the Minneapolis Art Institute if you are interested in brushing up or honing your knife skills, making sauces and soups or the course on meats as well as the ServeSave sanitation class in case you need it.
All of this in addition to the Seminar that we teach the day before the Summit is an unbelievable experience that is designed to propel you forward in your new career as a personal chef.
It's an experience you won't soon forget.

If you'd like to see some of the topics that will be offered at this year's Summit, you can see them at www.personalchefsummit.com

Hope to see you there. We're looking forward to working with you.
Candy

I have to second that!!
I have had the pleasure of attending two summits now, the first in Washington, and last year in San Diego, both fantastic, with wonderful break-out sessions and seminars.
Getting to meet and greet PC's you see and hear about either on line or in the news is a wonderful experience and well worth the trip!!
I hope to attend this year, but am having surgery that may not allow me to travel, if that is the case I will eagerly await the news from the summit online!! and will have to wait to see Candy unitl 2005, when she has gracefully agreed to come to Toronto!!
