Hi,

I'm seriously considering taking the leap and joining. My question as follows. Do I have to prepare in other homes or can I cook in my home and deliver? I fear kitchens that are not up to my standards. OR, do you take lots of equipment with you?
Thanks,
Blytheankeny

As a general rule, though some areas might allow it, the answer is no, one cannot prepare food in their own kitchen and deliver nor can they have their clients pick up their prepared meals. Food must be prepared in the clients kitchen or in an approved commerical kitchen.

We do take what equipment is needed for each cook date. That being said, I have had clients (& still do) that they don't mind me using their equipment...pots & pans mostly. Then again, I have had some clients that don't own much kitchen equipment at all. I always bring my own knives. Some equipment, like hand blenders/mixers, pc, or fp, I'd rather bring. This is b/c I know how mine works & with the results I want. (I hate Hamilton Beach products...I have Cuisinart fp...works way better) and besides, if something breaks, I am replacing my own, not someone elses.
