I am considering a new career by becoming a Personal chef. I am just now getting started and was wondering where is a good place to get a uniform? There's so many places on the internet that sell them and I am leary using an unknown vendor.

Check out Chefwear for jackets and pants:

And check out Dansko clogs for shoes. I recommend the Professional or the Narrow Pro. They take a bit of breaking in, but they're fabulous!

Good luck and welcome to the forum!

If you do a Google search for chef wear you will see several pages of reputable companies like Chefwear, Chef Revival, Chefworks Culinary Classics, Happy Chef, etc...
You can do some reading and check out styles, prices, and sizes before ordering.
Have fun!

For anyone who has a dickies outlet near them...thats where I ended up getting mine since I was unsure of the size I would need. But thanks for all the web sites...I will have to use them for my aprons since I can't seem to find what I want locally.
