That is great that you got an inquiry. There are so many dos & don'ts....which is why it is most helpful in joining one of the associations available, & purchasing their training materials. There is so much pertinent info... as there is a lot more to it than just cooking. I am guessing you have at least, insurance ANd servsafe course under your belt before taking on any clients.
Anyway I strongly believe that purchasing training materials would be the best investment to make for your personal chef service. I know that APCA's gives info on everything from marketing, business licenses, to recipes, to what to bring with you etc etc.
