DEFINITELY do so!!! It was the perfect thing if you want to get started quickly and if you are lucky you will have Jim Davis.
It was a wealth of information and Jim makes it so much fun. Being able to pick Jim's brain was worth the money in itself. I have a short attention span but Jim kept is so interesting with his real life examples and stories I didn't get antsy at all. Jim didn't pay me to say this, he truly is outstanding. And, if I wasn't excited enough about getting started I'm really excited now.
I just spent a weekend at the seminar in Gaithersburg Maryland. We were instructed by Chef Jim Davis and Chef Bryan Davis, also Chef Candy Wallace was there to help. I have been trying to find the words to express my gratitude for their combined expertise. The seminar was beyond wonderful. I felt well informed and I feel confident that I can reach out on the forum or by phone to get any assistance I need to further my career as a personal chef. But the one thing you can't know until you go, is that the personal contact with professional chefs who treat you not only like a human being, but a colleague is worth the price of admission. It was fun to be there, it was something I will never forget. I just can't begin to describe it with out gushing, but so what! This calls for a gush or two. I have every confidence that most people will benefit from the in person contact with people who really care about your success. So if you can GO TO a Seminar!!!!!
