Im in the process of planning my Personal Chef Business and I was wondering if there is a chapter in St.Louis Missouri? I would love to network with other chef in my city. I have called a few Chefs and have found nothing but negative feedback. Chefs here are saying they never get calls, that I should not make this a full time career because there is not enough work to really support a family. I was very discouraged for a while but now Im feeling like this is my calling this is what I want to do. Maybe I am in the wrong state because it seems Personal Chefs in other states are successful. I was reading most have have a income of $60,000 a year at least. I dont understand why St.LOuis seems to be a hard place to start this busienss? Or maybe the chefs are just saying this because they fear competition? could some one give me some advice on what to do? I noticed there is is a group in chicago. Im so desperate that Im willing to join that chapter if they would let me. Please any advice on how I can make a success of my business or should I really consider working in another state? On our find and hire a personal chef listing I saw 12 different PCS listed. Did you check with any of them? There's a few that started their businesses a few years ago. Be sure that if you call or email, to be totally upfront with them, & I am sure they'd be willing to answer your concerns.
I was concerned about your not being able to get your questions answered in your home city, so I attempted to call you. I am confused that you say you live in St. Louis, but your registration information and telephone number (which, by the way is bogus) is listed in Menlo Park, CA.
Why are you concerned about St. Louis if you live in California, and why is your phone number not real?
