I had some questions on becoming a personal chef. I have previous experience in food business but have been away for a while. However, my passion for food keeps drawing me back to the field. Since I'm new to this I'm not quite sure as to where I can go to get the best training and support. Internet searches result in several different organizations that offer such training and I am not familiar with any of them. I wanted to see what the pros and cons of the business are and which organization offers the best training and support. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Jackie brought up a great discussion that I missed while trying to decide what organization to join. I can tell you that I read a great pro & con while trying to decide, and as Pete said all pro's just a few con's. You can't just call in sick and take the day off, ok, maybe that was the only con. I can tell you if you have a moment to lurk around the forums you will find a fabulous group of individuals with the same passion. Making others happy, changing someone else's life is priceless.
