Be sure to attend the CPC September meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 7:00 pm. Terry Riesterer will be hosting the event at her home in Hoffman Estates, and will be making a batch of her delicious, famous sangria.

Please bring hors d'oeuvres to share, and your own beverages if you don't want sangria.

Here's what's on the agenda:

CULINARY GARAGE SALE: Grab a box NOW, go through your basement, attic, storage space, garage, kitchen cabinets, and the bottom of your kit for those items you just don't use any more. Cooking equipment, smallwares, servingware, chafers, whatever! Price them to sell and bring them to the meeting. One chef's trash is another chef's treasure!

LASZLO MARTON: He is a high level photographer who also grows garlic in Galena. He is the creator of the Galena Garlic Festivale which is coming up in September . He promises to bring some samples of herb blends and rubs to pass out to our members. If anyone wants to visit his websites, they are...

2007 MEETING FORMAT & SCHEDULE: The votes are in and we'll begin planning our 2007 meeting programming.

LABOR POOL: Terry Riesterer has been compiling a contact list of servers and bartenders available for hire for your larger events. If you know of anyone who'd like to be included in the list, send the contact info to Terry at terry@paragonchef.com
